Came across  this article detailing artists, landscape designers, and architects ideas for halted construction projects in Boston. Filene’s was torn down while I was still there (I wanted to photograph the smashed escalators dripping with mud and water from the bad weather, but never could get back there in time).  They all seem very vibrant and cheerful.
